Annhua Chinese School resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan, established in June, 1993.
Annhua Chinese School teaches Pin-Yin phonetics and simplified Chinese characters. All classes are conducted in Chinese. Students are grouped into 1st to 10th grades according to age and level of Chinese fluency. Students aged 5 to 6 years old attend a kindergarten class where they receive some preliminary form of linguistic education. In addition, there are cultural classes for drawing, dancing, and fun math. School hours are 10:00am to 6:00pm, every Sunday. Classrooms are located on the 1st floor, Herbert H. Dow Building, North Campus, University of Michigan, 2300 Hayward Ann Arbor, MI 48109.
Annhua Chinese School operates under a two-semester system: the fall semester which starts from September to January/February, and the winter semester which starts from January/February to June.
Annhua Chinese School is a not-for-profit organization registered in the state of Michigan, as well as a Federal tax-exempted 501 C(3) organization. Donations to Annhua Chinese School are tax-deductible.
