Client Service Responsibilities:
• Act as the IT Resource for multiple customers in our Managed Services Divisions
• Act as Customer Relationship Manager for multiple customers in our Managed Services Divisions
• Accept and resolve escalated issues from the Help Desk.
• Perform workstation field related activities to include troubleshooting:
• Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 95,98,Me,NT,2000,XP)
• Basic network connectivity troubleshooting
• LAN connectivity
• DSL/Cable modem connectivity
• Wireless network connectivity (802.11)
• Microsoft Office (97-2003)
• Windows Server Operating Systems (NT, 2000, 2003)
• Password resets
• Basic user administration
• E-mail problems (Outlook, Exchange, POP3)
• Blackberry, Palm, and Windows Mobile devices
• Anti-virus Software Issues (Symantec Corporate Edition, Trend Micro, McAfee, CA)
• Printing problems (various LaserJet and desktop printers)
• Postini SPAM solutions (recommended)
• Spyware detection & removal
• Other Computer and Laptop Hardware and Software problems
• Various customer training needs
• Support Experience with Thin Client computing
• Windows Terminal Services, Citrix Metaframe, etc.
• Thin Client hardware configuration
• Thin Client printing issues
• Perform activities to include predetermined network maintenance activities and follow up on any identified problems
• Review and maintenance of network system backup processing
• Review and maintenance of server anti-virus software
• Review and maintenance of server performance
• Onsite service of customer infrastructures
• Develop a trusted relationship with clients
• Provide outstanding client communication and follow up (essential!)
• Maintain appropriate documentation
• Open, maintain, close, and invoice service tickets (daily, detailed updates)
• Tracking of work time in service tickets
• Utilize and help maintain documentation for client networks including
• Hardware and software inventories
• Network diagrams (Microsoft Visio experience recommended)
• Anti-virus and backup maintenance records
• Follow process to evaluate necessary skill-sets to address issues, route/escalate issues if necessary
• Work effectively with multiple vendors (hardware and application software) during problem resolution
• Experience working in Small Business Client environments preferred.
Practice/Team Responsibilities:
• Document onsite procedures and documentation
• Assist in service level tracking and reporting
• Maintain tickets in service management system including status
• Identify common client problems and proactively work with team to implement permanent resolutions
• Adhere to processes and procedures
• Escalate client problems as appropriate
• Provide telephone coverage as necessary
