LABORATORY The University of Michigan has an available position of Research Laboratory Specialist Associate in Ann Arbor, MI. Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or Biology and 2 years' progressive experience as flow cytometry technician. Qualifications must include 2 years' exp. working as primary operator on BDBiosciences flow cytometry cell sorters with multiple lasers and exp. using flow cytometry assays to perform analysis on viable human tissue. Exp. reqs. may be met concurrently during the same time period. Job duties: Perform flow cytometry analysis and cell sorting on potentially pathogenic tissues unassisted. Collaborate with investigators to design and implement novel assays. Troubleshoot and maintain core equipment.
