The Ann Arbor Bivouac is an established camping gear, outdoor clothing and fashion store with an online retail presence.

We’re seeking a hard-working and skilled individual to help with the development of our e-commerce website in a part-time or full-time capacity.

Responsibilities: Work with our current developer to implement new functionality and improvements to our e-commerce website. Write clean elegant PHP code for our e-commerce site and learn the API of our e-commerce system. Be able to write MySQL queries when necessary. Learn how to use our e-commerce back end. Write standard compliant XHTML and CSS with unobtrusive JavaScript that is cross-platform compatible.

Knowledge and skills in the following areas are a must:
- PHP
- MySQL
- XML
- XHTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- CSS Based layouts (tabless layouts)
- Subversion/CVS
- Linux

The following are pluses:
- CakePHP (or other MVC)
- JQuery
- Microformats
